Charles Nicholls, Founder, CEO

Charles Nicholls is Founder and CEO of SeeWhy Software and a Business Intelligence visionary. Gareth Jones, Chief Financial Officer

Gareth Jones has spent his 25 year career in the IT industry, building, managing and directing both business and finance teams. He has worked at world-class multinationals, and also with start-ups. In his last role Gareth was VP & General Manager EMEA for Commerce One, and was instrumental in the set-up of the European organisation. Prior to that he was EMEA Finance Director at Sybase. Earlier in his career he held senior positions at Unisys, Apollo Computer and Hewlett Packard. Gareth is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Gareth serves as part time CFO for SeeWhy and company secretary.

John Powell, Non-executive director

John Powell has over 25 years of experience in the BI, applications and database markets, and is currently President and CEO of Alfresco. Formerly he was responsible for running worldwide operations at Business Objects (NASDAQ: BOBJ). During his tenure, he grew Business Objects at 50% per annum to $415m and a market capitalization in excess of $6B. Prior to joining Business Objects, John worked in sales management positions at Oracle and Comshare.

Robert Thompson, Advisor

Robert Thomson was founder, Past President and CEO of Hyperion Solutions (NASDAQ: HYPL), retired from Board of Directors August 1998.

Hyperion Solutions was formed in August 1998 from Hyperion Software, the world leader in financial analytical applications and Arbor Software the creator and world leading provider of OLAP technology. Currently the company has over 1800 employees and $300 million of revenues.

Previously, Robert has held management and technical positions with: Citicorp; Citibank; Rank Xerox; Dolby System Labs. Robert is based in Bermuda, and is an active business angel on the East coast of the United States, in addition to his angel activities in Scotland. Jean-Yves Quentel, Non-executive director

Jean-Yves Quentel is a Partner with Logispring and has been active in the technology venture capital industry for over ten years, first with Atlas venture, then with Europatweb and ETF. Jean-Yves serves on the board of Solsoft S.A and monitors Logispring’s investment in Covast N.V.

Sandy McKinnon, Non-executive director

Sandy McKinnon has over 8 years experience in helping successful commercialisation of defensible technology innovations. As Director of Knowledge Transfer & Technology and Research Services (TRS) at Heriot-Watt University he helped incubate twelve spin-out companies and helped them raise over £4.6M in funding. As a freelance consultant and also whilst he was with Scientific Generics in Cambridge - where he helped evolve and finally ran their Advance Technology Group - he provided due-diligence services over a wide range of sectors for a variety of blue-chip companies, institutions and VC funds.

Sandy had an Advanced Research Fellowship at Cambridge University where he worked for 6 years in Nanotechnology and Nanosensorics. His Ph.D. is for work on Amorphous Semiconductors and he has a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Dundee.  http://www.pentechvc.com/

Dermot Berkery, Non-executive director

Dermot Berkery is General Partner at Venture Capital company Delta Partners. He serves on the board of Similarity Systems, and Farran Technology. Before joining Delta, he was a Senior Manager with McKinsey & Co. in Atlanta and Dublin.
